Research courses are online courses which can be used in blended learning workshops or distance support for postgraduate research.

The Higher Degree Research Module has been set up to assist master's and doctoral students with the research process from proposal preparation to thesis submission.  Staff supervising higher degree research projects can also be registered on the module.

The Research MOOC is an online research capacity building course which can be run entirely online or in blended delivery in conjunction with research workshops.  While course materials and resources are available to visitors, you must be registered on the course to do self-tests and assignments, or to take part in forum discussions.

Research Matters contains resources and materials used in DUT Research Workshops, and offers a discussion forum for any topics related to research. DUT staff and students can enroll on this forum by emailing me (Prof Dee Pratt, deep@dut.ac.za) with the following details: first name, last name, student/staff number, department, email address. You will be contacted by email once you have been registered. Registered members may reply to messages or start their own discussion threads on any research-related topic.
